      Leicestershire Nocmig Group. In 2020 a small bunch of birders began sound-recording at night in the hope of recording the calls of night-time migrant birds. Their successes encouraged a few more to join in and by early 2021 a small group had begun sharing their recordings and picking each others brains via WhatsApp.  In order to help ourselves and others we have created this resource. These recordings and sonograms are created using software called Audacity and will help as a simpler alternative to Xeno Canto for users of Audacity.
