Little Grebe
The main night-time call is easily mistaken for the call of a Whimbrel, but a close look at the sonogram should reveal three higher pitched calls prior to the main sonogram (see sonogram below). Sometimes all three are not obvious but there will usually be some evidence of these peeps.
